Okay so our computer has been acting up lately so when I get online, I only have a few minutes of time before the screen goes completely white. I don't know what the deal is so if any of computer gurus out there have any ideas, I would be willing to try anything. We have ordered a new one since ours is about 5 years old. Yes some people would try and fix the one they have, but since Kevin and I are computer stupid, our solution is to just get a new one. Hopefully we will be up and running again in a few days.

Open the side panel, and spray the whole inside with a lot of compressed air. Clean out all of those dust bunnies. Odds are good that your fans may not be doing their job anymore, and when a computer gets hot...it stops.
Thanks, I will give it a try. I am almost embarassed to tell you though that Dude, we are getting a Dell.
That isn't that bad. If Kevin was a gamer like me, I'd condemn you, but if you just need a computer for general computer stuff, a Dell works.
